The proof is in. Washington Democrats know they can’t beat President Donald Trump on Nov. 3, 2020 so instead of joining hands for the American people they have decided it’s all or nothing to take out the president and continue this ugly fight to the end which will blow up in their faces.

Last week U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) repeatedly accused President Trump of taking part in a “cover up” following the release of FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia/Trump campaign collusion report which found no collusion had taken place nor was there any obstruction of justice evidence that would amount to an indictment.

No crime had taken place on the part of the Trump Campaign during 2016 and afterwards so ruled U.S. Attorney General William Barr. That should have been the end of this “hoax” but it’s not.

U.S. House oversight committees are now attempting to reinvestigate the same accusations and in effect conducting “redo” investigations by giving subpoenas for testimony under oath to Trump administration and campaign officials that all were interviewed at length by Mueller’s investigative team.

President Trump is exerting lawful executive privilege by not allowing these former and current administration officials to testify before these House oversight committees because they have already spilled their guts to Mueller’s team. There is no more to say. A “redo” would be another big waste of time. Why risk a perjury trap on questions that already have been asked and answered?

President Trump was quick to respond to Pelosi’s accusations of a “cover up.” She even went on a televised rant about the president having a “temper tantrum” at the White House during a meeting with her and others that was supposed to be about rebuilding “infrastructure” across the country but quickly went sour when the president asked Pelosi about border wall funding and she replied “No, never.” With that the president reportedly replied “Well then we having nothing to talk about” and he left the room.

Then Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) left the White House and went back to the U.S. Capitol Building. But President Trump went to the Rose Garden to speak with reporters and respond to Pelosi’s comments setting up a continuing war of words between the two and Schumer.

“I don’t do cover ups” Trump said angrily. “The crime happened on the other side.”

The president went on to explain his decision to give Attorney General Barr broad powers to examine the series of events that led to allowing the FBI to legally spy on Trump campaign officials during 2016.

“We’re going to find out what happened and why it happened,” he continued. “Let me just tell you: It’s not payback; I don’t care about payback. I think it’s very important for our country to find out what happened.”

Meanwhile, a much needed $19-billion disaster relief bill to rebuild communities and infrastructure in areas affected by recent hurricanes, floods and tornadoes in the USA and Puerto Rico sits in the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill was passed in the Republican controlled Senate and sent to the House for their approval. President Trump was expected to sign the bill, but he can’t because of quibbling politicians that don’t want to give this president a win for the American people.

Again and again and again the voters see the haters doing nothing for real American citizens.
