Press Release / For the first time in Costa Rica, entrepreneurs, bloggers, journalists, designers, developers, consultants, digital media professionals, technology experts and educators, and many others, will be able to attend a WordCamp, an event that will gather all users of Word Press, the most popular content management system in the world.
The activity is scheduled to take place November 5th and 6th in the Microbiology Faculty of the University of Costa Rica in San Pedro, and consists of 27 conferences by national and international speakers covering topics related to: code, interphase, marketing, user experience and others.
WordCamps’s objective is to spread the local development of the CMS by sharing experiences, generating knowledge, raising the level of professionalism, and strengthening the community of developers in the region.
The cost of the entrance to the WordCamp is of $20.00 per person and it includes the event’s t-shirt, lunch, snack, after party, and an invitation to participate in the Contributor Day , Sunday, November 6.
WordPress is an open source content management system that makes website creation and publishing of online content simple; users don’t need to have development or design knowledge which allows website owners to manage their own system without having to invest a lot of money in designers and developers.
